Facing Futures

Henok Addis was born with a severe tumor that covered nearly half of his face, making basic functions--such as smiling--difficult or impossible. He and his family live in Ethiopia and did not have access to the kinds of surgery necessary for him. Facing Futures invited Henok to Jacksonville to undergo procedures revolutionized by Dr. Steinberg. After weeks of successive surgeries, Henok has returned to Ethiopia with new hope for his future.
